With skies clearing in the late afternoon, Burnsville High School graduation ceremonies will be held outside at Pates Stadium tonight. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring towels because bleachers may still be wet.
At Burnsville High School, seniors will receive diplomas during the commencement ceremony at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 10, in Pates Stadium next to the school at 600 E. Highway 13, Burnsville. Bleachers may be damp, so if you are attending please bring a towel.
Burnsville High School seniors celebrated their plans for life after high school as part of Decision Day on May 2 in the school’s Career Center.
The spring senior meeting will be held in the Mraz Center on Tuesday, March 8 during the school day.
Seniors who have morning main campus will be dismissed to attend during fourth period (A and B lunch modules). Seniors who have afternoon main campus will be dismissed to attend during fifth period (D and E lunch modules).
District 191 high school students and staff have reason to celebrate, as graduation rates are up in all but one student category for 2015 in Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191, according to data released by the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) on Feb. 21.
