Author M.A. Larson visited Gideon Pond Elementary on Friday, Feb. 27, talking with students about inspiration, his career, and his debut novel, "Pennyroyal Academy." Larson attended Gideon Pond growing up and graduated from Burnsville High School.
In early October, Gideon Pond Elementary School in Burnsville became one of only 20 schools in the state to be named a “Reward School” for the fourth consecutive year.
