During the week before winter break, the students and staff at Eagle Ridge Junior High raised $964 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) through a penny drive organized by the Bridges program. Students from all grade levels brought in loose change to compete in a friendly competition among the different grade levels and teachers.
Community members can bring their unwanted electronic devices (computers, monitors, cell phones, etc.) to an upcoming electronics recycling fundraiser for the Burnsville High School DECA team.

The Enviro Club at William Byrne is hosting its annual electronics drive. The recycling drive starts after spring break and ends on May 1st. The winning class receives extra gym/recess time. Please check out the following link for more information on which items can be accepted and which cannot.

Foundation 191 will host its "Grapes & Grains for Grants" fund-raising event on Thursday, Jan. 29 at the Ames Center in Burnsville to benefit learners in Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191. .
The event will take place from 6:30 to 9 p.m. and will feature wine and craft beer tasting sponsored by Red Lion Liquor of Burnsville, appetizers by the Mediterranean Cruise Café, and a silent auction.
