A Children’s Art Show, featuring work from elementary students in Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191, will take place from March 21 to April 26, in the Ames Center, 12600 Nicollet Ave, Burnsville.
The free opening reception will be from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21.
The exhibit will feature over 100 selected pieces of artwork by students in kindergarten through grade 5 at all 10 elementary schools in District 191. There will be drawings, paintings and a variety of three-dimensional works.
Fourth-graders in Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 are invited to attend one of two “instrument petting zoos” hosted by elementary band directors on May 2 and 3.
At the events, students will be able to try different instruments with the help of staff members. Parents will have time to ask questions and get more information about fifth-grade band in District 191.
Elementary school music teachers in Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 are hosting the second annual Celebration of Young Musicians Festival at Edward Neill Elementary on Saturday, April 23. The festival is open to students in grades 4 through 6 whether they attend District 191 schools or not.
Attendees will sing four songs together. There will also be classes on drumming and folk dancing.
