Construction will affect parking, entry at Diamondhead Education Center

Final surfacing and striping of the lots at Diamondhead Education Center will begin Monday, July 30. The upper east, upper southeast and south lots will be closed.

Visitors to Diamondhead during that time should park in the upper west lot off of Pleasant Avenue (see photo) and enter the building through Door 7 where a Diamondhead employee will be available to greet and provide directions.

Parking limited for Orientation, shuttle buses will run from Diamondhead

Due to construction, parking will be limited for Orientation, August 24 from 8 a.m.- 3 p.m. and August 25 from 11 a.m.- 6 p.m.

Students and parents may park in the northeast parking lot behind the football stadium or they can park at Diamondhead Education Center, 200 W Burnsville Parkway, and shuttle buses will take them to the school.

Parents of seniors invited to plan Senior Party

Parents of seniors are invited to attend the Class of 2016 Senior Party planning meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 13 from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m., at Diamondhead Education Center, Great Room N. This room is on the west side of the upper level of Diamondhead. At the meeting, updates will be given on what has been planned so far, and sign-ups for projects will also be available. We have many small jobs that can be accomplished by working parents. Please join us in making this a memorable party for our kids.​

Vision One91 Construction Update - July 20, 2015

Building changes are taking place this summer at Burnsville High School and Diamondhead Education Center as the first physical stages of implementing Vision One91, the plan to redesign the district to meet the needs of today’s learners and ensure each student is real-world ready. Especially visible is construction at Burnsville High School (BHS).
