District 191 middle school students will be part of dance performance on March 2

Students in grades 6-8 from Eagle Ridge, Metcalf and Nicollet Middle Schools will be part of a modern dance concert at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 2, in the Mraz Center at Burnsville High School, 600 E. Highway 13.

The students have been part of an eight-week program working with professional teaching artists to create two pieces for the performance.

Blazettes receive opportunity to perform at Super Bowl

Attending the Super Bowl is a once in a lifetime memory in itself. But, how about being part of the Super Bowl halftime show with Justin Timberlake, with tens of millions of people watching you around the world?

That was an opportunity that the Burnsville Blazettes, along with 13 other high school dance teams in the state, received on Sunday during the Super Bowl LII halftime show at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

Rahn Family Dance is Oct. 14

The Rahn Family Dance & Book Fair is Almost Here!

Friday, October 14th from 5:30-8 p.m.

Admission is Free! The dance will be held in the gym. The book fair will be in the cafeteria, where food will also be available for purchase (pizza, chips, pop, water, cookies).

Join us for the MW Savage Back-to-School Superhero Dance on Friday, Sept. 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. 

This is your chance to do more than just dress like your favorite superhero. You can BE a Superhero by bringing in five non-perishable food items as a donation to Brainpower in a Backpack. As a reward, your admission to the dance will be FREE!
