BHS crowns 2017 Homecoming King and Queen

Burnsville High School students crowned seniors Daniel Akah and Olivia Brammer as their 2017 Homecoming King and Queen in a coronation Sept. 21.

Attendants walked into a darkened, jam-packed gymnasium, with background music welcoming them in and a spotlight and floor lights illuminating their way. Last year's Homecoming King Charlie Green and Homecoming Queen Egeziharya Yilma were on hand to crown the new king and queen. (See Slideshow)

King Ted and Queen Ashley rule over BHS Homecoming

Seniors Ted Ko and Ashley VanderWoude were named as Homecoming King and Queen at Burnsville High School during a student assembly on Sept. 11.

Ted is the son of Byung and Miok Ko of Burnsville, and Ashley is the daughter of Mark and Lori VanderWoude of Burnsville.

Burnsville High School students, alumni and community members celebrated Homecoming with themed dress up days, sporting events, a football game and a Homecoming Dance.
