From fan to scholarship winner to participant, teacher’s ties to Class Acts are deep

In one way or another, Meghan Jermeland has been part of Class Acts since it began 30 years ago in Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191.

She grew up with it and has continued her commitment to the annual teacher comedy variety show, which has raised a total of $345,000 for scholarships for graduates at Burnsville High School and Burnsville Alternative High School.  

'Class Acts' celebrates 30th anniversary with performances in District 191

For the past 30 years, teachers have presented Class Acts, a comedy variety show, to raise scholarships for graduating seniors in Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191.

As a result, a total of $365,000 has been presented so far to students at Burnsville High School and Burnsville Alternative High School to help pay for college and further educational goals.

'Class Acts' looks to go viral to raise funds for scholarships

Nearly 150 employees in Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 are involved in the upcoming 29th annual Class Acts comedy variety show to raise money for scholarships for graduating students.This year’s show, dubbed “#ClassActs” will be presented at 7:30 p.m. on March 9-11, with a 2:30 p.m. matinee on Saturday, March 11. All performances will be in the Mraz Center at Burnsville High School, 600 E.
