Always part of the plan, an expansion of Burnsville Youth Collaborative programming to all three Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 middle schools has happened a little ahead of schedule.
Three members from Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 were among the recipients of 2016 Community Builder awards presented by the Burnsville City Council on Oct. 18.
The awards have been presented annually since 1998 to recognize individuals, groups or businesses that have made contributions that build community, performed outstanding acts of bravery, or made a lasting impact on the quality of life in the City of Burnsville.
Christian Kibler, program coordinator of the Burnsville Youth Collaborative, has been selected to serve as a 2015-16 Afterschool Ambassador for the Afterschool Alliance, a national organization.
He is one of just 13 leaders from 12 states to be chosen for the honor this year.
