Emma Toomire and Bailey Kump are a dynamic duo. The Burnsville High School seniors are leading a DECA chapter project for a 5K race on Saturday, Nov. 14 in Burnsville to benefit the Masonic Cancer Center (MCC), a foundation of the University of Minnesota.
Students are once again partnering with Burger Jones, a Burnsville restaurant, to offer the popular “Blaze Burger” throughout October. The juicy, all-beef patty is beautifully topped with a brilliant mix of pepper jack cheese, jalapeño peppers, a fried egg, hot sauce and peanut butter. Can you say, "Yum?" For each Blaze Burger sold, $1 will be donated to the Randy Shaver Fund.
Burnsville High School students, athletes and fans will help fight cancer when the school hosts its first “Tackle Cancer” football game on Friday, Oct. 10, featuring the Burnsville Blaze and Lakeville North Panthers football teams.
