WHAT IS BRAINPOWER IN A BACKPACK

District 191 Bowls for Brainpower Event set for April 12

The eighth annual Bowls for BrainPower is set for Thursday, April 12 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the upper level of Diamondhead Education Center, 200 W. Burnsville Pkwy, in Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191.

This annual fund-raiser supports BrainPower in a Backpack, a largely student-supported community service program that provides weekend meals to elementary school students in need. BrainPower, which is funded entirely with donations, currently sends food home with more than 675 children each weekend during the school year in District 191.
