Two student musical groups from Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 will perform at the 16th annual Winter Lighting Ceremony in Burnsville from 6 to 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26, in Nicollet Commons Park, 12600 Nicollet Avenue.
The Athletics Department at Burnsville High School is proud to announce that Brennan Pruszinske signed a National Letter of Intent on Friday, Nov.14, to play baseball at Southwest Minnesota State University. The Burnsville-Eagan-Savage community wishes him the best of luck as he continues on with his athletics and academic career.
An informational meeting for wrestling, boys swimming and boys basketball will be held at BHS Main Campus on Monday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. Students and their parents should attend this meeting. Individual team meetings will follow the group meeting.
The Athletic Department at Burnsville High School is proud to announce that senior Jack Ahcan signed a National Letter of Intent on Wednesday, Nov. 12. Ahcan has chosen to play Men's Ice Hockey at St. Cloud State University, Division I level.
Burnsville High School and Burnsville Alternative High students are invited to support the Movember campaign, which will raise funds for the Movember Foundation's Men's Health Programs. Teachers at Burnsville High School volunteered to support this campaign by sporting a new beard/mustache style for the month of November. During the lunch periods of November 17-21, students can vote in four different categories:
BHS We Day has joined more than 15,000 people at the Xcel Energy Center today, Wednesday, Nov. 12, to kick-start a year of action through We Act. World renowned speakers and performers, along with tens of thousands of youth, gather together to make this commitment.

Congratulations to junior Angela Le, who was the only Blaze swim member to qualify for the Class AA state swim meet during the Section 2AA finals. She took third in the 100 butterfly and fourth in the 100 backstroke.
On Nov. 13-14, Le will head to the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center to compete in the Class AA meet.

Class ring orders will be delivered on Friday, November 14 during lunch periods outside the cafeteria at the main campus. If you forgot to order a class ring, it’s not too late! Extra ordering packets will be available in the office. Or, you can talk to a Herff Jones representative on Friday.
