Burnsville High School baseball program to recognize first responders before game

The Burnsville High School baseball program will honor all current and former first responders with a special recognition of Burnsville and Savage police, fire and EMS departments, during a game on Friday, May 3 against Northfield High School.

The event will begin at 5 p.m. at Alimagnet Park baseball fields, located at 1200 Alimagnet Park Drive in Burnsville.

Special guest Kat Perkins from NBC’s “The Voice” will sing the National Anthem to kick off the games at 6 p.m. Varsity and junior varsity teams will be playing on fields 1 and 2, respectively.

Six student-athletes sign National Letters of Intent on Nov. 8

The athletic department at Burnsville High School is proud to announce that six student-athletes signed National Letters of Intent on Wednesday, Nov. 8 to play their respective sports at the NCAA Division I or II college of their choosing.

Signing students are:

  • Sawyer Brewster, Softball, University of Colorado - Colorado Springs

  • Emma Buchanan, Volleyball, Bucknell University - Lewisburg, PA

  • Sydney Dahl, Swimming, University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee
