Burnsville High School will host its third annual South Metro Student Job Fair on Tuesday, April 16 in the school’s activity center from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
There will be approximately 50 employers participating in the fair, with part-time, full-time, seasonal and long-term student jobs available. Students will have the opportunity to apply for employment while attending the fair, and human resource professionals will be able to assist students with the application process. Some employers will be conducting interviews during the job fair.
At the event, business display booths will be set up according to the Pathways model. With booths that are grouped by career field, such as health and human services, information technology, business management or manufacturing, students will be able to seek employment with businesses that are aligned with their career interests.
The fair is a collaborative effort involving Burnsville Chamber of Commerce, Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191, and the Dakota County Workforce Center.
