Burnsville High School snowboarders take home tournament hardware

Burnsville High School won team titles at the Minnesota State High School Snowboarding and Freeski Championship at Hyland Hills Ski Area in Bloomington and at Buck Hill in Burnsville.
 
Eighth graders Beck Lobben and Liam Johnson received first place as a team in the Big Air event, while eighth graders Brandon Gill and Beck Lobben received third place for the Half Pipe event.
 
The state high school championship titles are given to the school that has the combined highest points of any team for each of the events.
 
While this competition is not sanctioned by the Minnesota High School League, students are eligible to letter by competing in one event.
