Children who are starting kindergarten in September are invited along with their parents to a Kindergarten Welcome Evening at Rahn Elementary School of Arts & Technology from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18.
This is an opportunity to hear more about Rahn and to ask questions. Parents/guardians can also register their children for school.
Principal Barbara Borer and teachers will provide information on what parents can do over the summer to prepare their children to be school-ready.
Rahn Elementary School of Arts & Technology enhances learning for all students and places an emphasis on educating the whole child. Students engage in critical thinking and problem solving skills while learning about the world around them. Teachers encourage student creativity, curiosity and imagination through the arts and technology.
"These innovative learning experiences empower students to discover their own unique talents and abilities," said Borer.
Rahn Elementary is located at 4424 Sandstone Drive, Eagan, in Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191. For more information, go to www.isd191.org or call (952) 707-3600.
