At the hands-on competition, 2015 model year autos are “bugged” with identical problems that students are required to diagnose in 90 minutes. The competition challenges high school students’ knowledge and mechanical abilities in the field of automotive technology.
Russell Tesmer, automotive instructor at Burnsville High School, thanks Marty Wojciechowski at Luther Auto Group for lending the school a 2015 Ford Fiesta for the students to practice on before they went to the competition. For more information on the competition, go to www.autoskills.com.
