Applications are now open for grants from Foundation 191, a nonprofit organization created to enhance, enrich and expand educational opportunities in our school district.
Applications must be received by 5 p.m. on May 15. Applications and grant criteria are available on the Foundation website at www.foundation191.org.
A maximum total amount of $10,000 will be awarded for next year for learning projects that benefit students. Since the 2010-11 school year, Foundation 191 has awarded more than $47,000 for 51 grant projects to teachers and other staff members. Examples of prior funded grants can be found on the foundation’s website.
Grant proposals should be submitted on the grant application form online or sent to Foundation 191, P.O. Box 245, Savage, MN 55378. Grant applications can also be emailed to: email@example.com. Application forms can be downloaded from the Foundation 191 website at www.foundation191.org. Funding guidelines are also posted on the Foundation’s website.
