"Movember" at BHS is growing on students and staff

Burnsville High School and Burnsville Alternative High students are invited to support the Movember campaign, which will raise funds for the Movember Foundation's Men's Health Programs. Teachers at Burnsville High School volunteered to support this campaign by sporting a new beard/mustache style for the month of November. During the lunch periods of November 17-21, students can vote in four different categories:

  • Most Intimidating Mo.

  • Most Dignified Mo.

  • Mo that Needs To Be Shaven Immediately.

  • Mo we Love So Much It Must Stay Until Friday, December 5.

Each vote will be $.25. Students can vote for multiple teachers or a single teacher multiple times. Students can vote as often as their bank account allows. Funds raised will go to charities that support men's health and mental health issues. At the end of Movember, money will be counted and the teacher with the mo' money in each category will be "honored." Winners will be announced on November 25.

Pick your teacher and pick your mo, just don't pick your teacher's mo. Find some quarters and let's help raise awareness of issues affecting men's health.

If you have questions, please see Mr. Burk at the Senior Campus or Mr. Riggs or Mr. Krebs at the Main Campus.
