The District 191 Finance Advisory Committee plays a key role in supporting the district’s progress and student success. Committee members learn about the district’s revenue and expenditures and advise district leaders on financial issues facing the district.
Every year, the Board of Education approves a budget that affects everything else in the school district. It’s important that a wide range of community members are part of the committee and serve as advisors for the development of the budget.
